I am so so mad and still in shock !!!
Me , my mum and my nan took poppy for a walk to the post box . A quiet 3 min walk , or so we thought
We got to the end of our cul -de-sac when along comes a very large bull dog / staffie type Running free off the lead !! Goes straiight for Poppy . Poppy gets very frightenened and the dog was growling and attempting to bite her ! I was terrifyed ! It all happened so quickly I had no idea what to do !
Along comes the owner shouting its name - dog takes no notice whatsoever . Owner is a 12 year old girl !! Eventually manages to grab dog before it savages Poppy ! I was very very angry and shouted at the girl she should get her dog on a lead - its illegal not to and lost my temper with her - which I know was wrong but I was so mad !!!
Carried on to the post box - shaking in shock and looked over to girls house dog was still off lead and then ran away !! It is now loose somewhere in my street
Had to carry poppy home !
Will be reporting them first thing in the morning
