... not that anyone will care after all that hoo-ha. I almost forgot myself.
The lad was an absolute saint tonight. Still with giraffe tendencies, but got lots of lovely work out of him and we were both nice and relaxed most of the time (and not giraffe-y). It felt really nice. He's had a swelling on a tendon on his right hind since i last rode him which has made me wonder if the arena was too deep for him and that's why he was being a giraffe and trying to pee off with me. Feel soo guilty, even though i was careful and didn't canter much it was obviously still too much. He's not been lame at all somehow, and there's not been much heat in it, so he's had time off (apart from when his other sharer rode him!
) and lots of arnica on it and it's gone down and he's fine today. Arena has been rained on and so was more compacted today so took him back in. Did mostly walk and lots of shoulder in/ a few turns on the forehand/ haunches etc to keep him thinking. Lots of transitions and really short trots and finished with a couple of really nice relaxed canters.
Maybe he doesn't hate me after all!
