And for once not rolling off the black beast
.
So into another weekend, another venue and another two tests!
They had retreated back indoors at Bold Heath so we had slight return of spooky Topaz but she did pull her socks up for some nice work, which is as ever such a lovely improvement. It really seems to be sticking that I can tell her its ok and she's starting to really trust me and say ok which is fab
. Plus we nailed the halt in E42 we can stand still at least
.
First test was a little onward bound at times but she kept a lid on the spooking mostly, it just felt a little bit gung-ho. She seemed much more settled for the second, though we did fall out of canter in E53 when she spooked in the corner
Topaz cannot spook, control all legs and carry on cantering
.
So super pleased with 66.72% and 66.76% to win both restricted sections and I think we're all qualified for Winters now,

!
On my own as ever so only a quick snap at the box inbetween tests:
She's now had her shoes off and will have a mini-break from competing, though will have to see what my instructor thinks when she goes for bootcamp next month.
I then had a play with my uncle's camera before my trip to NZ, so thought I'd share, the horse's did get a little bored with me though
.
In other news Skylla is now on a break till around Christmas time, but had a quick tottle round the other evening, though she's as good at posing as Topaz
.
