Had a phone call today from a woman who wanted her horse riding....so i went to see it...
Most beautiful horse i've ever seen in my life. 15.3hh anglo arab gelding, gorrrrrrrgeous. 7year old but only broken last year and had winter off so veeeeeery green, rode it and walked and trotted, just a tiny bit of each to see how it reacts etc and assess it, and hes just beautiful, works in a natural outline, really well behaved but just very green.
So im working on it 3times a week, schooling it/getting it working - obviously starting with the basics! Then compete it if/when its ready (and my god will this horse be a smashing little competition horse). I love him and the other little piece of info is shes interested in putting it with a rider/on loan for 4years as she cant ride it due to an injury.....might be an interesting prospect....watch this space!!
Sorry for this overly self indulgent post but im on a high from just this first meeting, horse and i really clicked as well, such a nice temperament, very innocent and genuine horse.
So i have a spring in my step!!

Thats sounds really good. Only thing if she is putting it on loan for 4 years is she expecting to pay anything or would it be on a normal loan scheme. Try and keep getting paid to ride him
 
I'm not sure about that yet, i think she would expect me to contribute to some of its cost and she contribute to some aswell, not sure though havent got that far will bring that up later on in the summer....though tbh (and sshh) i wouldnt mind that arrangement for such a genuinely beautiful horse (can u tell im smitten)
