On the search for a new XC hat

I bought a HS1 skull cap about 12 months ago, as I had started jumping and doing a couple of ODE's, so had it fitted etc BUT it gives me such a headache after only about 15mins, to the point that I feel sick. I've persevered with it, but its come to the point that I really dont want to wear it any more. I have a Harry Hall Legend for every day hacking etc, which is really comfy. Any suggestions?

Either your HS1 is a size to small or you have the wrong shaped head for it. My OH whose head shape didnt fit HSI had the top strength Charles Owen instead.

I bought a MIPS helmet from Champion. I 'tested' it a month later LOL and it worked just fine. Very comfortable. Not cheap to replace just 1 month later tho, and I am still wearing it bad me. Happily I now have a short cob, so may be at less risk of falling??? I do recommend that hat though!

It totally depends on your head shape. Go to a good tack shop and ask for a fitting. They'll have all shapes and sizes, or maybe even will manage to re-pad your current one to fit more comfortably.
