Have been looking for quite a while after selling our trailer having lost Mazzie last year. Well saw this advertised Monday, called just before flying to Rome, called her again after landing yesterday, and went to see it today! Price has been agreed and all sorted!

I am so hyper and cannot stop smiling! The lady we are buying it from is absolutely lovely, and I'm thrilled!

It's a 3.5t, will be carrying 1 welsh cob (in sig). Saw weight certificate and it has a 1.25t payload, so plenty for what we need. Mechanically sound and cruised through it's MOT in July. Floor also sound.

It's an 04 reg.

Fantastic, good to hear you're no mug, particularly as you'll be driving it around these parts. I saw many scarey sheds when looking for my lorry, always gets me wondering whe I see older boxes on the road.

Looks great. Firends of mine do the new mini ones and although they have no living area as standard are great for people who have reently passed their test.

Have mucho fun with your new box

I lost a horse in a trailer accident last year Ed, I'm VERY careful! lol. If I ever take two horses it will be Genie and a mini or a welsh A youngster, so nothing majorly heavy like two big heavyweight cobs!

Say hi if you see me out and about!

Oooh, well done, how exciting!! What engine is it, do you know? Will be 120dci or 140dci or something like that - I'd love to know how it drives! I've recently bought a much older (M reg) Master and I really like it but need something with a bit more power!

It's so much more reassuring having the horses next to you (I find it so anyway).

Worst nightmare Fi, got a friend on traffic that went to a couple of those last year. He's horsey too, quite cut up for a grizzly copper. No articulation is MUCH safer. Got a bit obsessive about it all and spent 6 grand more than I was intending when I got mine!

It's a 120dci I believe! Mum drove it (I can't until I've insured it) and she LOVED it.

Ed - he may have come to our accident last year on the M5 then. The police were excellent... very professional but also understanding.

and come to visit soon, I know lots of fun places to go.

looking forward to riding the baby one one mon

(just to increase jealousy in genie fans!)

methinks Eds avatar is on berrow beach- see its lots of fun you should come!

No idea, I stayed out of the way when the vet arrived, but told them before I moved away that Mazzie had to be put down and I wanted it done immediately. Some people with a caravan had stopped so I went in the caravan.

ester - I know you are!!! :P

It is!! Unfortunatly I took him to Weston beach in June and blew his tendon - he's been in the box since then. Stem cells, tears...will be next spring/summer before I get back there.:-(

nice to have another localite on the forum

can spot that brown tinge a mile off (see cantering pic in sig)

The beach is the only place Frank gets stupid normally a bit of a donk he is banned from large groups on the beach after tearing a shoulder muscle with RC group in march and him forgetting that welsh cob shoulders go up not out and of course he could take on a 16.2 without my permission. In fact knowing where it was (lump came up) vet has no idea how he did it and we had been on horse cantering and jumping for 1.5 hours.

he came off beach on 2 legs so I know how you feel :S I was really worried then relieved it was muscular and he was being a bit of a wimp. He was then banned from racing.

hope your boy is recovering ok though. stem cells are great things.

Have concerns we may be putting fihunt off- we will do steady frank canter only fihunt! and pop a few logs.

Lol, you might do a steady frank canter, not sure Genie would canter as slow as him though! :P Although she was VERY chilled today.... there's hope for her yet!

Are you suggesting frank is...................slow!!!

you wait I will have her bouncing on the spot!! (or maybe not!)

we can't go till october anyway cos thats when we can park for free and all the holiday makers will have disappeared. its a nice hack about for a couple of hours though and if dry enough to do bridleways too is a longer route.

Frank would be well happy with Cal on one side and genie on the other!

Not slow, just slower than Genie! :P And I agree that he would be in HEAVEN.... not sure about Genie... she can be a bit like Cal when it comes to the boys!

yeah well he is used to that- he thinks that normal, got to walk next to a pretty black welshie today and she just made faces at him.
