If only people would/were able to adopt the very many dogs abandoned in Britain and had nothing to do with these imported dogs.

I don't think it was outlined well in the article, but these dogs were brought in by the vanload without the required bio-security checks and then sold for profit/a mark-up. I personally don't call that 'rescue'.

Absolutely not rescue - but it totally fills the market for all those people out there who decide they want another dog and they have to have it NOW so they get one from just anywhere they can.....

I’m more convinced by the day that dog owners should be licensed not the dogs themselves!
