One day eventing question

How small do one day events start? I can jump up to about 2ft 3 but I'd rather a bit smaller. I really want to try a 1 day event, but haven't really looked into them as they're stereotyped as really big fences and difficult tests I'm probably wrong but could anyone help me? I want to try it without jumping huge!

Have a look at your local PC websites and see how low they go down to but conventionally at the very low levels people would tend to get practice doing dressage, SJ and XC separately first.

A local venue to me runs a mini ode - from 45cm up to 75cm. The Xc is more working hunter type but there are still some solid fences

Milton Keynes event centre does a mini one day event, first class is 50cm about 1ft 8, very basic dressage test, sure they'll be something like that near you
