Islay will be 10 in July, now that is not 'old' in my eyes in any way but I have noticed she is starting to slow down on her walks now. Quite often I find myself waiting for her to catch up with us.
How did you/do you go about splitting walks so the oldies get what they need but the younger ones get more? Islay will go mad if I try and leave her at home while I walk the others, but it might be getting to the stage where a gentler walk would be better for her.
My others are Flick (6), Hoover (6 1/2) and Amy (approx 5) - when I had my previous oldies I only had 2 dogs, so it was not a problem
