One greyhound, two greyhounds... MANY greyhounds!!!

Well all the best things come in threes, dont they

After a text from Cayla this morning I hot-footed it around the M5, M42 and M40 to junction 10 and met Cayla's lovely sister and her OH with the gorgeous Amy

Talk about some dogs knowing how to flatter you, as I walked up to them Amy lunged towards me wagging her tail frantically

I was instantly smitten of course

We did the paperwork and headed off home, this time via the A roads not the motorway so I could stop and let Amy out en-route. Of course she refused to do anything for me

but travelled wonderfully well until literally 30 seconds from home when I glanced over my shoulder to see her heaving.... too late, I couldnt pull over in time, so Amy has made her mark already by throwing up all over my car

As soon as I got home I went in and got Islay and Flick and we went for a walk

Amy was very very well behaved

Got home, went and mucked out, then wandered around the paddocks and introduced Amy to Bob

And finally some pics which is what you all want to see really

I was going to take more pics when I got indoors, but this is all they wanted to do

Although I did grab a quick one of Amy - this is about the only second she sat still before she flaked out asleep

I would love to take a pic now as Amy and Islay are lying next to each other on the sofa, but the light isnt good enough in here

She looks to have settled in beautifully and Flick and Islay seem to like her. Some things are just meant to be.

Will you class me as completely mad if I tell you I found the whole story lovely to read? And then I mean everything, not only the 'lunged towards me wagging her tail frantically' and those things, without also the refusing to 'preform' at the stops and throwing up in the car.

It adds character to the story, if I might say so.

She looks absolutely lovely, glad Islay and Flick also seems to like her.

We have just been to get Bob in and tuck him up for the night, then I have fed them (Amy will have to learn to eat quicker I fear

) and now they are all fast asleep again

Awwwww poor Cayla

It worked out really well when they were tied up, the yard dogs were out so Amy was fixated on them and actually stood still to get some pics

Sorry about the physical pain thing

but thank you, I could not have hoped for a more gorgeous friendly little dog

She tried to run away from Bob

until Islay and Flick laughed at her and said 'what ARE you making so much fuss about'

I think she would be fine off the lead, but he looks very big when you are only a leads length away

It was a good move getting the dog bed out of the cupboard, although I nearly bawled my eyes out when Islay got in it as no dog has used it since Talisker

But we have had a little swap around now so Amy is in the bed and the other two are on the seating

Lol about the Diazepam, it must have been a double dose as she is still flat out asleep

she runs like the clappers in circles and rolls all over the ground

She was not overly impressed with the bath.....but she is powerless to my vice like grip

I thought u neva txt back cos she had run away or something

I has such paranoia....I should not be rehoming dogs

bless u letting them have Taliskers dog bed......u do have a heart after all......unless u really where struggling for somehwere to sit
