One month ago today.....

..... Cassie came to live with me. I have to say that ever since the day she arrived she has been an absolute pleasure. I finally managed to remember to set the video camera up, albeit in a rather useless position and it struggled with the dull conditions, but it does mean I have a few low quality ridden pictures.

We have our first lesson planned for later in the week. After that the plan is to carry on building our relationship together over the next month or so and hopefully get out to some competitions early in 2016.

Also thought I would share a link to a very short video of Raffles, aka the Pink Pony, from the weekend. He was having a ball with one of his many fans and they put this together. He hasn't read the memo telling him that he's 23 next year.

She is indeed, and has fitted right in to my little herd. I am so thankful that Cam seems very chilled about her arrival which helps relieve the guilt somewhat. xx

Thank you! I had my best ride on her so far this morning, schooling in the sunshine with a big smile on my face. I have been a member of the broken horse owner club for the past 18 months so it's all been a bit disheartening. I still have my other horse Cam, but he is going to be turned away for another year or so as he is only 8 and it's worth a try. I am so happy to be back riding again. x
