not sure why I didnt think of this before! Islay is missing most of her front teeth - she only has the 4 canines left, and some molars at the back - she copes OK with soaked Skinners, will she cope OK with raw?

I would try and stick to softer bones, I know supermarket chicken is intensively farmed but because they are young their bones are much softer. The wings are quite soft anyway.

The end of a breast of lamb where the cartilage is is good too, avoid beef bones they will be too hard.

With chicken carcasses wings and lamb ribs you can help a bit by bashing the harder bones with an axe before feeding.

Thanks very much Slinky and KarynK, I dont know why I didnt think to ask before :) I am going to visit supermarket/chicken factory/butchers/online shops asap and do some pricing up :):)
