one more stable question... do you haggle over price/quote?

so... we've had a quote for stables of 3250. my hubby says i should say our budget is 3000... is that right? can you haggle over stable prices?

p.s. i've never haggled over anything in my life, i'm the sort of person that would go to one of those markets in turkey and pay £500 for a fake handbag...

ha, i'm so crap. i just sent the email saying:

i need: x,y, and z, but only have 3k, can you do that?

i sent it about 3 minutes ago, and already want to send one saying 'sorry for being rude, i'll pay full price'

but, i shall hold out (for another half an hour...)
