Sounds boring, but yesterday and today I rode out, only walked, for a short 20-30 minutes BUT it was fantastic!
Decided yesterday was the day, as it was probably going to be pretty quiet on the roads, to take Roberto, my 4 YO Sec D, on his first mini hack.
He was superb, quiet, calm, no fuss and I feel as though I have been riding him all my life. He followed our old mare and then led for a while, stopped once and went into reverse to smell some strange horse poo! Then learnt quite quickly it was not allowed. He was a star
