Incidentally I've flagged that in case any other sick b'stards watch it and think that it would be funny to see if their cat can walk after a five storey drop.
I was talking to a friend of mine today who is a nurse in the Neurological Intensive Care unit at Southampton General. Apparently, they've got a young guy in there at the moment who is in a coma after being beaten up completely at random in Chichester. The thugs who did it filmed it on their mobile phone and then put the video on YouTube. They obviously weren't very bright though as they showed their faces quite clearly and the Police picked them up rather quickly. I'm not a great fan of YouTube, I'm afraid, I feel is encourages the thuggy "show-off" element in our society.
I too am not a fan of you tube - this whole new era of gangs and thuggery is terrifying.
I had to turn off that video before I watched the cat go off the building, did it survive?

The cat ran away but there was no way of knowing if or how badly injured it was

I think I heard about the cat one on the news. If I remember they were prosecuted - the cat was ok (as ok as you can be after that) and the youths got a large fine of 50p or something....
This footage was shown on Central News, the thugs lived in Birmingham. Poor cat was thrown off the tower block 4 times and it did not survive......had to be PTS.
Words fail at times.
