one rubber mat?

would i be able to use one rubber mat in the doorway inside each stable if it was a heavyduty one or would it move?
or what about across the front of each stable?

(there`s just never enough mon to go around!)

anyone done this?

My friends did this as the front of the stable was very uneven after the previous occupants terrible 'dancing'! It worked fine. it was heavy duty and they levelled the dips underneath 1st with gravel pinched from the YO's driveway!!!!! It worked brilliantly and didn't slip at all.
 
I do this as I only managed to scrounge one rubber mat!

I have it against the wall inside the front of the stable long ways on and it never moves. I have it this way because my horse is very dribbly with her water, and it was getting too wet when it was laid width-ways!

I used to have it in the middle of my bed, so it would be soft for her to lie on if I scrimped on bedding, and again it didn't move. It did get very soggy and smelly underneath though, which is why I moved it to the front as she stands there most of the time.
 
I've got a single mat in front of mine's door. He likes to do disco dancing and tends to slip with his shoes on so the rubber mat stops him sliding everywhere
