One step forward, two steps back...

Mine was an RD, she's a lovely lady and interesting to write for! But while I am sure she does have her reasons I find there seem to be a wider range of scores than I normally see. My last sheet had a 3 and yet I got a 6.5 for my riding

Ah ok not the same person then! I like to see judges not afraid to use the whole range if justified, and although one movement may go wrong it's nice that all the others don't get penalised for it too. In my first test at Birtle we got a 4 for the 'slight disterbance' but managed a 7.5 for my riding with the comment 'well ridden' :D, so you are probably riding better than you think :).
 
Only just catching up with this post! The warm up was definitely, um, "interesting" - the kettle blowing steam on the other side of the barrier was our favourite...

:D Yes the kettle was not helping matters :D, but the rail the other side was also apparently pretty terrifying ;). Only taking her out more and seeing more will help I guess :).
