So the field my boy is in has aa very quiet foot path running along side it. It's very muddy and is rarely used however. Just Bringing my boy in a bit later than usual and I see a walker. I then see her dog.... Positioning itself on a hayledge pile to do a poo! Que me hollering at the watching owner!! Who was ever so apologetic but none the less watching until she heard the racket I was making! I was so livid! Say she was attempting to call it, I would be less cross however to stand and watch!! I should add my horse is out with others that are out 24/7 and those horses were eating from the piles of hayledge Al beit not that one. Now as a dog owner myself who walks near fields I wouldn't never allow a dog to do that!! IM STILL SO CROSS!! I did ask her to come in and clear it away which she did- she didn't have a bag but I did (carrots). This is really rambling now, just wanted to rant because as I have mentioned once or twice I am soooo cross!!

Why was she walking her dog without a bag in the first place!? Clearly no intention if picking any mess up!

Rude!

ughhhh its discusting.....i clear up after my horse and dont allow it to c**p in other peoples places! people hould clear up after their dog!

there have been people at all the yards i have been on that allow their dogs to poo and wee in horses beds and haylage........i have a no dog policy in stables, because it normally results in doggy mess!!! and i really dont like it, esp. in hay/haylage!

I misread this and thought the owner was squatting in your haylage... So y'know, it could be worse :p

Sorry but I just laughed at the title of the thread...can't think of anything constructive to say....was it a big turd or a little turd?

Pretty s**t excuse the pun lol if that were me I would be mortified and would have shouted the dog.
Charlie peed on his own hay the other day tho! Thanks charlie much appreciated!

Agree that walking a dog without a bag is a d**k move and a pretty clear indication of no intention to clean up!

BUT I love your thread title, which I assume is a sly wink to one bourbon, one scotch & one beer (if not I have made myself sound like an alcoholic, which I am not)

It would annoy me too OP...I also get annoyed when the YM takes her dog with her around the yard delivering hay and allows it to pee up it, people who feed the yard cats who don't clean up the poop off the hay and people who take their dogs to the yard and don't clean their turds up.
Good on you for asking her to clean it up.

Round my way, it's bad enough people that don't pick up dog poo... But there are people, so sick in the head, that they pick it up.... Then chuck it in the trees!!! There's a dog poo bin less than 100yards away from where they throw it.

I don't really know what to call this type of person... Mentally retarded?

It is isn't it? Pure laziness.

If you're going to have a dog, accept that you have to pick up after it, and get on with it in a civilised manner.

Personally, I don't understand the obsession with dogs in this country... But that is another story :)
