This used to happen on FB. Someone would put something alluding to an event that had happened or a tiff that had taken place but wouldn't say what it was about. Very frustrating.

Got everyone talking though :D

Ok so Amber has been a nightmare to get in foal which is a shame as she’s a fab mum.

I was advised to try again this year not wait a year because it would make it more likely. For those following the foals thread - I wanted a smaller/finer baby Amber but she never took with the stallions I chose so vet used his RID - hence Felix! Ie bigger and chunkier ?. The idea being She would then take more easily next time once she’s had a foal.

But this year she’s been tricky again and then scanned in foal to twins…. If she hangs onto one I’m bringing home a tadpole at the weekend. If she doesn’t I’m bringing home a youngster who I’ve already picked out. (seller fully aware of the situation) I don’t know which it’s going to be…. I’ll post a pic!

Felix is going to youngstock livery for 3 years. At that point I’ll decide which horse suits me best in terms of temperament, athleticism etc: Felix, tadpole or mystery youngster.

Hope all goes well with the scan . It can be such a frustrating/ disappointment/costly process when things don’t go to plan Been there with the bills in previous years too . Will keep everything crossed for you

Which stallion did you use this time ?

you may as well just buy the youngster anyway , you know you want to . Plus if you have 3 babies you won’t need Youngstock livery . Saving you £££ in the long run ?

HAHA it's very tempting. Lovely youngster owned by a friend who bought him direct from the breeder for herself to event. But health problems have got in the way for her so he will be for sale immininently. She is just waiting to see what I do first

But I would prefer an Amber Tadpole if I had to choose. The stallion is this handsome chap:
