One week today

Oo. Not long left now. Have you got an elaborate plan of what you're going to do once your on? Are you only allowed to take it easy?

So who will be on lead rein duties for you Mrs M.
And we need that first piccy please.
I do hope everything goes well for you next week. How is the back these days - do you feel better? And remember the the body protector!

oh how exciting, I remember it well, I too was so excited. It's been about 10 wks now since I got back on.

Already jumping and loving it :D Have a few minor balance issues because I am stronger one side than the other but getting there and doing lots of exercises to help

I will be watching out for your 'I did it' post:D

Warning. Does the kit still fit? I was mortified to find my previously comfortable boots wouldn't go past mid-calf after a short break from the horse.

I found mine way too big around the calf after losing all my muscles. Wish I could say the same for the breaches lmao

yahooo!!!

Bet you simply can't wait!! Lots of pics required of you brimming with happiness... but remember to take it easy... slowly slowly catchy monkey!

xx

Thankies again y'all :D:D:D

As there is now more of me than there was :(:rolleyes:, I am guessing that gear will be a little, um, snug...

I have bought a new hat :D

There will be the Mountain Horse body armour jacket and a BP, not that I expect the Dizz to do anything, but I am indeed (as I have proven!) a numpt :rolleyes:

Just been discussing with D and D1. D says that as it's only six days away now, why not start as the muscle are going to be stiff so I'll only be doing a few minutes a day, plus when a new contract starts, I won't be here to ride anyway.

It is tempting(!!), but I promised the Mr. Consultant that I would stay off for six months, so six months it will be :D:cool:

Lol, don't think the muscles are going to let me do anything but take it easy :D

I sat at a desk all day a few days ago and I'm still paying for it

Ah well.

The daft thing is, mucking out/poo picking/yomping around the yard/leading in big donk brained twit/holding a spinning GM - none of that hurt it at all! :D :D

I broke my back in May so I think we are in a similar position. I started riding again in November. For the first couple of weeks I only rode in walk, now I've added rising and sitting trot. It is wonderful and doesn't hurt my back at all, in fact I think strengthening my core is actually helping matters. I had a hysterectomy in October and that has caused more problems - I seem to catch the scar when getting off.

Good luck and enjoy yourself!
