One year Cam-iversary

Sorry, very self indulgent post, but I love my little horse. :o:)

On Monday I will have had Cam for a whole year. In that time he has made me laugh, and made me cry. But most of all, I am just proud to say he's mine, and still can't quite believe how lucky I am. :)

Anyway, a few pictures.....

When we picked him up at Boomerang (seller was riding a horse there that day and it's conveniently down the road from us):



Making himself at home (out in the field on the first day):

The years will fly by now :) He has grown up so much, I am a big Cam fan :D If he goes missing, definitely don't check out Soton Uni's campus... All that grass wasted on students!
 
How wonderful, hasn't it flown by! I remember you going to view him and all of those early photographs! Beautiful boy, he has matured into such a handsome, strong young man!
 
Hes lovely looks like he has matured a bit time flys cant believe i will have had my new one a year in couple of weeks time!

Thank you! :) He's very photogenic, and with a camera always to hand in the shape of my iPhone, I've got hundreds of pictures of him. :o

Thank you! :) He does a pretty good job of showing himself off as well - he attracts all sorts of random people when we are out and about. :cool:

Thank you! :) Yes he's filled out really nicely and still more to go I think, especially once he really gets using his chunky ID back end. ;)

Thank you! :) That first year really does whip by - I think it's because a lot of time is spent just working each other out. Now we are ready to take things forward as a proper partnership. Hope you post an 'ownerversary' thread, I love seeing pictures of other people's lovely horses. :)

Thank you! :) He's smart, both to look at, and mentally - he picks things up pretty quickly which can be good and bad. :rolleyes:

Leave him alone - you love him really! And to a shortie like me, he's perfectly proper sized. I'd need a crane to get onto Mr Alf. :eek:

Thank you! :) My old mare had a personality, but it was only shown to those she knew really well. Cam is very nosy and into everything and everyone. He has quite a fan club and loves scratches and attention from anyone willing to give them. He would love treats as well, but I'm mean so he doesn't get them. I think he would be quite a pocket thief if he got into the habit. ;)
 
Wowee, he is just gorgeous!! Congrats on owning such a beautiful chap :) sounds like he and you are a match made in heaven? :D :D
 
I have followed your journey with him so far with great interest as he reminds me very much of my boy.
I can't believe it's been a year since you brought him home.
All the best for your next year with him, and make sure you keep us updated with lots of pictures.
