My instructor is trying to talk me into doing a dressage test!!! I suggested we compromise by doing an online test to start.
I can see there are a few different sites that do them, has anyone got any recommendations of one's to use or avoid please?

I used Dressage anywhere, pretty easy to use, judges comments were fair and gave us things to work on

I've used haygrazer and dressage anywhere. Marks have been fairly similar to actual competition scores. I like DA as the scores come back quickly, and I find their marks are closer to an affiliated score. Haygrazer is probably closer to unaffiliated, there's more options and they split classes so more chance of a frilly which is nice

Dressage online, they do 'my first dressage' tests and have starter tests which is walk with an optional small trot section. Good luck and enjoy!

I’ve tried Dressage Anywhere in the past but found it a bit disheartening as the classes were huge and I think there was a bit of “pot hunting” going on with people entering classes well below their level. I found E Riders (formerly Haygrazer) to be more friendly. The scores have been very similar to those I got from DA, but there doesn’t seem to be much in the way of people entering below their level and scoring ridiculously high. They split large classes and do rosettes to 10th place too, so it’s nice to get a bit of encouragement. They do BD classes and also their own tests, which are split into limited, restricted and open at each level.

I too found dressage anywhere quite disheartening. Incredibly mean with rosettes, and gave me a very curt response when I asked why I didn't get a 6th place rosette. It was because there weren't many in the class (I wasn't last) so rosettes were only to third place. Only entered two of their comps and felt very disappointed in them both times. Other organisations issue rosettes to 6th place and sometimes 10th, regardless of entry numbers, which is far more encouraging.

Dressage addict is another one. I used it once, got my Rossette through the post but no sheet. I didnt query it as I wasn't going to do it again as I struggle to get my test filmed. Not sure if your supposed to downloaded sheets off their site?

I use e-riders. They do a combination of their own tests and BD, rosettes to 10th place, and the comments on my sheets have always been good.
