Online horse management courses

Hi all,

I saw in a post that you can do online horse management courses. I would love to know if anyone has done these and can recommend a good one?

I've been sharing horses for the last 5 years, but as a sharer, I do worry I'm missing a part of husbandry - mainly a good knowledge of first aid and feeding.

I would like my own in the future and while I'm on an enforce period of rest following a bad fall, I thought I might as well use the time wisely!

Can anyone help?

i believe Lingfield correspondence offer good courses at various levels. When i looked they were definitely the more competitive and have good reviews.

Maybe consider doing the University of Edinburgh's course in equine nutrition, which starts in January?
Available free from Coursera, you just have to register at https://www.coursera.org

I think there are courses offered by the college of agriculture and rural enterprise (CAFRE) as I've seen something on facebook from a friend. Not sure how you find out about it though - i'll look and let you know if I find out. Anyone else heard about it?
