I purchased a walker rug through ebay, which stated on the description 100% waterproof.
I used the rug for the first time at weekend and it is not waterproof, my boy was wet underneath along his back and bottom, and although I agree that round the neck and shoulders would be wet this is not acceptable.
I have contacted the seller who contacted the manufacturer who say they want to test the rug and I can have a refund or replacement, once it is tested.
Now am I right in thinking there is something wrong here. My contract is with the seller and the refund should not be subject to the manufacturers say so.
Before I go back to them can anyone confirm the legal position on this.
Many thanks
