Dear all,

my name is Connie. I am a 3rd year Student and am currently studying a BSc (Hons) Equine Studies and Business Management degree at Writtle College, Chelmsford.

As a part of the course I am completing a dissertation. This dissertation is studying the market demand of equine anatomical models in England and Germany.
I would be very grateful if you would complete the questionnaire (Please find the link to the english questionnaire at the bottom of the page) It contains only 11 questions.

No, it is perfectly fine if you are not a professional and complete it the way you do.
This shows me the population...and that are mostly pleasure riders (like I am).
It would be weird if everyone is suddenly a horse professional. No worries :-)
 
So what happens for all those who live in Scotland? Questionnaire asks if you live in England or Germany, I presume from that you only want English people to answer as opposed to anyone in GB?

but otherwise I would have to sample thousands and thousands of questionnaires.
 
...except that you won't get thousands of replies and even if you did I don't think its unreasonable to process a thousand responses for a degree dissertation. By ruling out Scotland and Wales you've excluded 2 of the 7 UK vet school and some of the institutions that teach equine science, let alone the farriers and other people on your 'professions' list. If you are trying to establish the market of anatomical models it makes no sense to exclude parts of the UK so I'd include a very good reason for it in your dissertation if I were you, because simply saying 'you would get too many replies' should lose you marks!
