Online saddlers - which ones do you use?

I refuse to give Derby House my customs after various issues with orders and such shabby customer service. So what online saddlers do you use? I need a new gilet and maybe some joddies :)
 
I like Rideaway as they sell mainly branded stuff so you know what you're getting and heard good stuff about customer service
 
ebay is pretty good... fairly cheap.... can't guarantee it's not been used once before and the customer service is quite personalised.

You have to give feedback though which I find quite a chore.

anyhow - prequestrian on ebay is fab - as is 4dobbin - and equestrian clearance - they are the ones i use the most :)
 
Regarding new jods, I bought a lovely pair of cheap jods at the weekend from my local tackshop but I guess other retailers will also stock them.

Sherwood jods, lovely stretchy material, in buff (but they do them in black, brown and white) medium weight, so ideal or summer or winter, zip pocket and loops for a nice belt....only 14.99!!!!!

I'm buying another pair next week, can't go wrong for that price, if you want here number I can PM you, I'm sure they would happily post a pair out to you.

Sorry, was a just an excuse to brag about my bargain :D
 
That is quite a bargain Kenzo! I think ym cheapest jods are the Phoenix ones which back in the good old days (3 years ago) were only £20 but they are not up to about £27 which put inflation at nearl 45%, no idea what the government is on about with their recession chat.

Anyway, I have used rideaway before but I have issues with the layout of their website (I can't decide quite what my issues are but it never makes me want to buy something I don't really need which for me is a prerequisite of any good saddler!)

Will check out those ebay users :) need a new gilet and maybe a new rainsheet, she only has 2 and I feel the one on and one drying is making her look like a pauper ;)
 
Ok I'm on rideaway right now trying to order a gilet and a new rug and I add something to my basket, little box pops up saying it's been added and now I can't get back to shopping?! I just had to reload the page and it appears I have added 2 rugs and 2 gilets...this does not bode well, I hope they don't charge me twice?!
 
Yes, Derby House pretty cr*p. I ordered a New Schule bit from them in June and still no sign of it yet. I actually phoned up New Schule to find out what the problem is and it's not down to lack of stock, it's down to 'Issues' with Derby House! I could of course order from New Schule, but it was in the sale with DH - £10 off. And every penny counts at the moment, so I will just have to wait :mad:
Saddles Direct have a good selection, however they appear to have moved their 'search' function, or had last time I looked, so it's a bit of a pain if you are looking for a particular make.
 
I like rideaway and often buy from there, I find their new website is definitely an improvement on the old one. I also like www.frogpool.com and not had any problems ordering online from them. Have received a free gift voucher with an order before as well which was a bonus! :)
