I need a general restock on the mundane stuff, bust the roller, lead ropes etc etc.

Any recommendations for an online supplier please. I have looked through a few past posts and it seems a bit of a minefield.

I've always found Ride Away to be brilliant - excellent communication, deliver on time and really helpful customer service. Have bought lots of stuff from there over 4 years and without any problems.

I've never had any problems with Ride-Away either.

Personally, I've not had problems with Robinsons, Derby House or Equestrian Clearance ... but I know there are a lot of people that seem to have!

Maybe I'm just lucky?! :D

Equestrian clearance gets my vote everytime, quick, efficient and helpful if you need to ring and change your order, I made a mistake, ordering full instead of extra full headcollar for the big girl, e-mailed and changed it no problems at all. Always had stuff delivered quickly too.

Fast Tack Direct every time... website is so much easier to navigate than Robinsons/Derby House/Eq Clearance and they do free delivery on most stuff too.

Equestrian clearance - I get bits and pieces at other places but keep going back as they have more of good quality brands discounted.

I think they are doing free postage for April.

I'm going to rideaway tomorrow for a shopping spree.

Someone said they've just finished an overhaul of the premises with being taken over by pets at home.

I'll let u know what it's like!

I've used quite a few, but I have to say RideAway were the best experience. I bought a (used!) saddle online, and they couriered it to me here in South Africa. It arrived promptly, exactly as described and in fact better than described.

I like rideaway.
Used Robinson's, derby house and equestrian clearance as well, but rideaway is still my fav. Probably because they send me a full catalogue that keeps me entertained for hours! (Although I do have to say that it's not necessarily the cheapest)

I've used all of the above in the past - and usually very pleased with everything. I must say the only problem I've ever had was with Derby House being a bit slow with delivery. But they were so cheap and the things came in the end, so I guess I can't really complain even then! ;)

(I think RideAway sent me little presents included in the parcels, too??)

Both of these get my vote.
Rideaway do next day delivery if you can't wait.....I get stuff posted to my work address. Well....brightens the day:D

Ride away is now totally different! Couldn't believe it when I walked in! Took some time getting used to as I practically lived there and knew where absolutely everything was, even if I would never need it in a hundred years! Now it's all moved round

But yes I always go there. Prices seem a bit higher than other places but not by much and it's worth it for the convenience of having so much stock under one roof :)

Echo what others have said about Hope Valley (who often send free horse treats in the parcel!) & Equestrian Clearance. Also used TDS Saddlers, The Saddlery Shop, Country Supplies and Countrysmiths - all have been excellent.
