Poor little Susie was feeling a bit left out what with Dash arriving and me buying tons of toys for them (none of which she will touch ) and Oscar and Dash being new best mates (not that she likes Oscar much anyway :rolleyes:) then Dash getting injured and getting loads of "attention" (i.e. dressing changes and lead-only exercise :rolleyes::rolleyes:)

Anyway, to cut a long story short, I decided to give her some lovely one to one grooming time today and armed with my new shedding comb we spent a lovely half hour which resulted in this:

and a rather shell-shocked Russell  who has now gone off to hide in the tractor with OH :o:D

identical to ours in looks and personality- love em!!!

**wishes I had a smaller dog sometimes**

KL funny you should say that, I love mine but breeder nearly had a fit when I told him I was using it, thinks it breaks all the hairs. I have to say it is great for the top layers of dead stuff in the moult and then a rake or slicker thereafter (I have big pockets :p)

**wishes I had a single-coated breed sometimes** :p

Oh i use one too but i have had a groomer show me the damage it causes to the coat with over use. She suggested no more than once a week at the most.

No problems there then, i only groom mine once a month if they are lucky - one of the joys of short coated breeds :D *hides from CC*
