Due to your lack of grammer and punctuation, it is not clear from your post whether it is yourself who is planning to do a full day hunting with just a neck strap, or someone in H&H. Commendable whoever it is. However, why be so rude to someone else doing something fantastic for charity?

JenHunt, your OH sounds great! Good luck to him and I will be happy to give a donation to your brave man for this worthy cause :)

He must either be mad/crazy/unhinged or a lovely mixture of all of them :D I do hope my OH doesn't see this and get any ideas.....

Haven't read on from this yet and I imagine you've already had the response warranted to this attitude - but just to say good Lord, if this is how you address the efforts of someone doing something *relatively* unusual and certainly bloody brave, not to mention for charity, I'd love to see your pep talk for a bunch of schoolkids doing a sponsored silence. Hope you've put a sock in it now.
 
Tinpot, it's not a competition who cares if it's been done before, it's not a case of 'my dads bigger than your dad' it's raising money for charity.

Well done to the OP's OH, hope his tackle recovers soon :eek::D

I imagine many HHO members can relate occasions where the Air Ambulance has been used for themselves, friends or relatives, and if it is "old hat" ideas that raises money for the service then they won't be complaining. Would you?

thanks everyone! I will be posting the link when he gets it sorted out, and I will be borrowing a friends horse to try to get photos and or video! :)
 
Well as said he must be mad but good on him for such a great cause - like another poster I would also be interested in sponsoring on line because we riders never know when we may need to call on air ambulence - But we must have video he he he he he
 
omg just read some of the comments and so what its been done before - it is still an extremely brave thing to do for a very important cause - ummm sponsored walks parachute jumps marathons etc have all been done but people still respect and give - Personally if you cant say something positive then why comment on a great post like this - I hope the negative ppeople never need air ambulanece and I for one take my hat of to your OH WOOOO HOOOOOO :)
