He's doing really well. Excelling at Dogskool. Has now learned "paw" ahead of next week's challenge and has also finally grasped the concept of "stay" when he's been put in the "down" position.
Love him! Teething like you wouldn't believe....can't wait till those baby teeth are out!
Here are some more pictures of him from our walk with Bess today.
This is my favourite!
Only issue we're having is his weight. He's a totally different build to Jasper and I think he looks porky. Problem is, the feed he gets is so good (he's on Orijen) that he already has small quantities of it. I daren't reduce the amount he has any more as he's hungry because his stomach thinks his throat has been cut....even if he is clearly getting enough from it.
Considering swapping him. Don't want to, but he might be more satisfied having something that offers bulk/quantity without such weight gain.
He is growing up fast!! He looks like a proper 'little' dog now!!
As for his weight - he will be growing fast - sometimes they go out before they go up if that makes sense - if he ends up a 'big' blue roan like Sweep he will be on the chunkier side. As long as he is haring around don't worry to much - don't forget all his treats etc for training will add up so maybe cut down some dinner if he is getting lots of treats every day.
His treats are taken from his feed allowance. He doesn't get tea after dogskool and most treats during the day are actually puppy kibble from his feed ration.
He only got hotdog sausages today to test them out. We tend to find he's great up the field, but will run for the cat food bowl (where the ferals are fed) in the yard when we get back.
Hotdog sausages didn't stop that happening, although he didn't repeatedly try to go to the dish!
He is definitely going to be bigger than Jasper. He was such a skinny Spaniel and I was often giving him extra feed to try and build him up.
The older Harvey gets the more exercise he can/will do. This should help!

Now you're really going to confuse us
Can't believe how much Harvey has grown. It fascinates me how spangles go darker as they get older, I'm used to my sheps who lighten up (with the exception of sables of course before CC corrects me.)
He's grown so much! He does have the loveliest head on him doesn't he? I mean, the rest of him is lurvely too...but he has a lovely dished face! *Pokes boring spangle head to make it prettier*
