ooo i feel guilty!!

Took zakkie for ride and went up a bridleway that half way through was really overgrown with brambles and stinging nettles, so i ducked my head and kicked zak on but he wouldnt move forwards. I thought he was being silly and gave him a hard kick and slap to move on, he did, but then stopped again and tried to turn round. So i gave him another kick and got angry with him, but we eventually got to the end, but when i got back he had small little lumps all over his back end, where im guessing the nettles stang him!!Poor boy was only trying to say mummy i dont want to go forwards these things are hurting me!!I didnt realise horses were affected by nettles?

H doesnt seem affected by nettles, he walks through them all the time and even eats in them !!

this happend to me when i first got my mare
was hacking out then through overgrown path and she suddenly started stopping, walking backwards, stamping etc i was like Get on with you, thinking she was trying me on got back to the yard and she was covered in nettle bumps! bless them
