Took my boxer Steffi and Staffie Dizzy to a charity dog show today.

Not sure if anyone remembers me speaking about Dizzy , we saved her in May from the local council pound. She was a right sorry soul, suffering from depression they thought , was very very sad, never even came to front if cage to speak to you,

She was ill all the time from eating her own poo, they think it was due to boredom , she was all sagging underneath as they thing she been used to breed then dumped when no use.
Anyway they said everyone just walked past her so we felt sorry and took her.
Turns out she a super wee dog, adore her, she never leaves my side, so loyal

Anyway

Dizzy won best in show, a trophie and rosette and £50

How proud was I of Dizzy today

Near 100 dogs there too :-)

What an amazing turn round in such a short time, no wonder you are proud, well done to Dizzy and Steffi, and well done to you for all the work you must have put in to Dizzy in particular.

Aww thanks guys, dizzy is super, she a bit of a fighter so had to muzzle her but now she no Bother and can be around some dogs she knows un muzzled , if on the lead she totally fine, just occasionally if running around yard and possible strange dogs could appear we still put it on her just to be on safe side, but every day she seems to become more tolerant of other dogs

Today being a major challenge , 100 dogs, no muzzle (on lead of course) but she never even looked at another dog

So delighted with her progress.
