just found this by accident:

you input the name of any rider who has ridden at the Olympics and it will give you their height and weight at the time. (any athlete at all actually)
i suspect that at least 1 rider (not British) might have told a porky though...
and another rider went around weighing 13 stone 10...!

still sticking to my diet though, but it's interesting i reckon!
 
Oh yes, this was all on the BBC olympic website bit in 2008, I went through it with great interest looking at the riders heights and weights!

They were all listed though by country with all the sports together so took a while - this is much easier!

i found it by accident while looking for stuff on Mike Plumb. couldn't resist seeing how much Geoff Capes weighed when he was a shot-putter (before doing Worlds Strongest Man i think), he was 139 kg (306 lbs, nearly 22 stone!) Olga Korbut was 39kg (86 lbs, 6 stone 2)

I did not realise Geoff Billington was so short. No wonder he looks like Humpty Dumpty. He is only 12 stone.

he does say in his demos that he's only got stumps for legs! he weighs a lot less than some of the riders!

Yes, sorry, typo! I can't believe Lucinda Fredericks is 5'11 - that is SO tall for a woman!
