Ooooh my gosh... 3 horses in a double trailer!!

A friend's tiny pony came over to the UK in a furniture lorry, underneath a table.

I trust HM Customs knew it was there...

I haven't read all the replies here I admit, the main issue here legally is that depending on the size of the 3 horses it may well (most likely) be over the payload of the trailer, so therefore illegal.

I'm glad other people have done it, I've been a whisker away from stuffing our shetland in the front of the 511, along with the hunter and the welshie! My big horse sometimes isn't the nicest to ponies though, and I couldn't bear the idea of him trying to take chunks out of the shetland and her not being able to get away. so I don't think I'll try it.

we're looking at those ifor williams' trailers that take several horses. not cheap though!

Dad took herford bull to local show. Came back for me and welsh pony. At the end of the afternoon my father decided he wasn't doing two trips! Pony tied up in trailer and hereford bull led in next to her - no partition! I don't think I've ever seen a pony clamp her tail down so much!!!
