Lovely Northamptonshire again!

Hints... he hasn't run yet this year, and I thought i'd heard he was going to be aimed for the World Cup, no more 4*s... Interesting. Maybe he's jumping out of his skin at home!
Very exciting, hope he gets there and struts his stuff again.
HUGE American contingent coming over too, incl Courageous Comet. Should be a fab competition.

Tamarillo????????????????????????????

Imagine having the strength in depth that you can enter 4 horses in a 4* and all of them could be incredibly competitive. Also that your top horse at the moment is not included as going to Euros. I am guessing 2 will go to Pau if they do not get in at Burghley or if anything goes wrong.

Nope, I just LOVE that horse and when you said he hadn't run and was meant to be aimed for the World Cup, I just knew

GO TAM, I hope he wins too

lec, i know, i am in awe of anyone with that much strength in depth.
at the WFP lecture/demo in Spring someone asked him which of his horses he thought he'd get to ride at 2012... he replied immediately "it could be any of them"... which i took to mean that they're all capable of being that good.
*keels over and dies of envy*
wizoz, i just LOVE him too. (the naughty little git.) i don't think i'll ever forgive him for not winning a Gold Medal anywhere though, he certainly has/had the talent.

He's just one of those horses that makes the Advanced 4* look like he's skipping around, literally. I also love his cheekiness, what a character

Oh how exciting! I won a lesson with WFP a few years back and during my lesson there was this rather non descript bay in the field munching and walking about (i think he was on time off after an injury) and my mother was chatting away to WFP asking about the yard and the horses and said 'is this one of yours?'
'ummm well yes that's Tamarillo' cringe again!

mothers don't you just love them?...

Now that wud have been very impressive!!!!

hahaha yes, it would be very impressive... as i have a choice between a 'just-turned-into-a-broodmare', two very raw 4 yr olds (give them time, they might get there!) and a retired ditchy-as-hell nanny!
no such luck, unfortunately. still looking for that one-in-a-million horse... i'll just have to get my kicks vicariously!

He is now in work and looking well I am hoping his first run will be at Wilton; there is then the possibility of running him at the World Cup Final before either Burghley or Pau.

From William's website, seems it was in the plan? He is a fab horse and a true pleasure to watch.

He is having a run at Wilton this weekend in the OI

ooh, thanks, will keep an eye out for results. it's a bit too far for a spectating trip, unfortunately.
wonder why he hasn't been out all season?

haha ohhh you are so far behind the times, I noticed that a few weeks ago
wink.gif
haha!

I will try and get a pic of him at Wilton as I will be there on the Sunday hopefully (watching)

Very exciting! I might go back to my favourite past time of checking the entry list daily for new entries/withdrawals.

Very sad i know - i must have much to much time on my hands!

Good to see Tankers Town also entered and a certain HHO member

Interesting that Susanna Bordone has Ava entered - she not going to the Euros then?

Really exciting for Tam. Although i would love Daisy or Sharon to win burghley...would be fantastic for them they really deserve a big win! Although i think this years Burghley is going to be tough with the Americans ( Couragous Comet etc). But does anyone know the plans with the fredericks? I dont know that Lucinda will run Brit because of worlds next year??? And I heard Pippa wants to run Blue Horizon at Burghley, so fingers crossed for her!!!

Tam is one of the real character horses of Eventing. Hasn't been the luckiest horse, soundness-wise, or a World title would surely have come his way. Latterly he seems to have been a bit too cheeky. I'd love to see him pick up another title.

that's what i wondered... unless Ava is her 2nd string and will only run at Burghley if not requd for Euros?

I think Brit *may* go to Pau.
I dont think they'll be out to particularly save her for the worlds due to the slightly dodgy Aussie selection policy, they wont bank on her being selected.
