Poor Rosie :(

My son took her to his Dad's this evening - he was rather hoping that she could stay there for the next few weeks whilst she is in season. But he has said No - he doesn't want her :( Miserable bugger - he is a self employed contractor and could have easily taken her to work with him as he works in the outdoors and there are kennels where he lives

So I went to pick her up earlier and bring her home.

She has been squeaking at me - I gave her something to chew on, I topped up her water and then I let her out. I stood out in the garden with a torch and watched her but she just stood around, sniffing and looking and then came back in with me.

But she has just done a little wee on the carpet - she hasn't done that for 7 months :( She was obviously too self conscious to go whilst I was watching her :( And she was upset when I saw it :(

Poor little thing - I am so not looking forward to the next few weeks :(

PS: I will ring about the Tardac in the morning - but its not just that - if she is determined, she will escape from the garden and there are farmdogs over the road :(

Bless her:( I always feel sorry for bitches in season, especially if they get cramps like I do!

Cast-iron knickers for Mrs Houdini Wenchy Pants Collie!:D

Flyn has been Tardakked!! First thing this morning.

The vets were really surprised I asked for it and said that they had very rarely used it in this instance and asked how I knew of it! I told them I had a friend who breeds bulldogs and she told me about it! ;)

CC I only have one big run but I have kept Flyn in the house today, Toby and Rosie in the kennel and then will bring Rosie in and put Flyn out - it will be fine I'm sure.

The vet also told me that if she does get caught she can have an injection after her season.

Hate to be the forbearer of bad news, but I live next to a lab/collie who got caught..had the injection...and had 3 lovely pups still!
