Decided that if people are coming to see pony for loan then he needed to look a bit less trampish - he's in that clip growing back all long and straggly phase and looks a right mess. Clipped one side looked fine then managed a little bit of the other side and the clippers just died. Pony now looks good from one side but RIDICULOUS from the other as its not even neat lines its little patches of bald. Hmmmmm who will want him now!! This was saturday and have only just managed to get hold of some more clippers so by the time i manage to finish off the clipping the other side will have grown back already!! hahaaaa

i think my pony hates me!!!

When I was a teenager (early 1980's) I took my new 14.2hh to the PC meet, so decided to clip him. He was a stunning palomino and I was so proud of him...
Got the nearside clipped, went round to the offside, and he went bananas! No way on earth he was going to be clipped without killing someone.
So I went hunting with one side smart and one side hairy! Sooo embarrassing!

(Later I discovered that if I blocked his ears, he stood like a lamb for BOTH sides... and I now clip a bit each side to keep things as balanced as I can right from the start of the clip!))
