This is my new toy - have had him now about six weeks.

LOL :) :) :) You are as bad as me - except I can't help but tell EVERYONE at EVERY step of the way what I am doing (as you may have noticed!)

He is rather smart - I love the last pic :D

Thank you! Lol

It wasn't *really* a secret, it was just that I hate the process for uploading photos on here, so I was taking my time about it.

Thought though perhaps I ought to...you know, before he's a veteran! ;)

Oh yes I totally agree - can't believe in this day and age that they can't find a better way of adding photos!!! Is he a show dog?

Yes, they are a proper dog under the hair. But as a groomer, I LOVE the hair. I recently clipped my miniature bitch right back and already I'm missing the coat. But she's doing more agility stuff now, so would rather her more streamlined at least for summer.

He is being called Kobi (a little nod to his Japanese sire) or sometimes he is called Shimmy Jimmy as he can shimmy up your leg like a ferret if you stop moving long enough which is less than a second lol

He is indeed a very happy dude, and a bit too clever for his own good at times. He is already wanting to do agility - if the stuff is out in the garden he is more than game to go in the tunnel, on the planks or through the wings (obviously far too young to jump yet).

First confo show next month when he turns six months - hoping to get him to Leeds Ch show.

Gorgeous! Poodles are great dogs! So clever! A friend used to have one & you could put down a whole row of treats, show the dog, & say "That's a bad one, that's a good one, that's a good one, that's a bad one ....." etc, etc in any order, & the dog would eat all the good ones & leave the bad ones :-)

I must admit I'm so smitten with the breed, they have captured my heart - long before I ever had one of my own. It took a long time to convince my hubby we should have one, and we now have three...and planning on more! He is just as smitten.

We called the wee man Kobi which is Japanese for cajolery, flattery. And it totally suits him as is a complete cajoler! LOL
