Ooops!! - Poppy has just chewed OH's laptop lead...

Poppy is REALLY in the doghouse tonight!
She was lying in the hall, and I heard her chewing, but she had her bone with her. Next thing OH lets a yell out of him and charges at her, and she's chewed the end of his broadband laptop cable which was coiled up on the floor. She knew she had been bad and shot behind the bed, but he pulled her out (she peed on him at this stage), smacked her nose (when standing beside the chewed cable) and put her into bed. She hasn't ventured out since, and I had to go and grovel to him to apologise (fortunately he has calmed down now, but he has only another very short cable, and he uses this for work so really not impressed).
Note to self - watch puppy at all times (preferably having her in the same room as me).

If he wants to use his laptop he has to sit on the floor in the hall!!!!

Oopsie! Puppies do seem to find fun with the strangest things.

My last two puppies, Daisy and now Clover, both did exactly the same thing; they would steal your shoes if you left them at the door. Never damaged them, just ran off into the garden with them.....remember our garden is over 100 acres!

Thank goodness it wasn't an electric cable that was plugged in! I would be very careful where you leave her in the future!
