Rather late update on my boy - I had my little ex-racer Merry there (Doncaster sales last may).
He was fabulous!
It was his second outing actually - he went round the little hunter trial at Tetworth Hall last week. He got round clear, but it wasn't what you would call an elegent round!!
Anyway, decided to stick to the smallest class at MK and see if he would go a bit more positively.
He was SO much better - hanging a little toward home but otherwise very confident and popped round beautifully. Even splashed through the water as boldly as anything. Managed to put in a decent time (he is quite speedy between the fences) and won an easter egg which improved the drive home.
So onwards and upwards - going to get him out schooling at some point next weekend and then aiming for 2ft9 class at Foxhills (wooohooo!).
