I really should have seen it coming. i tried my best to wipe most of it out and its still minging. My other half is back at the weekend so has anyone got any ides how i can get rid of the evidence or im going to be in soo much trouble

Good idea, I wouldn't have a clue what to do!

Do you run a rinse with nothing in the machine?

Yes

If you a dab hand at DIY, you might want to just double check the filter thing, as sometimes the hair bungs it up and it won't empty (as in drain the water out) but that usually only happens if you have a habit of washing numnahs/rugs/dog bedding etc etc which I take round to my dads

my OH goes mad if I even put one dressage clean white dressage sqaure in the wash...even if there are no hairs on it, mind you last time I did that my with my friends DW one (with teh crown and waives on) it came out pony size

I run the machine on an empty rinse cycle as well and it seems to do the trick.

But I'm lucky with my OH - he never goes anywhere near the washing machine (so, maybe I should say I'm unlucky) and he's so scruffy that I doubt he'd notice if it hadn't been washed at all!
