Hm. Friend, a nurse, was concerned about the level of pain despite the painkillers I was on, so convinced me to go to A&E Sunday evening.

Short story (five and a half hours later lol) and I'm lying in a very comfy bed, having net some lovely nurses and doctors :).

The x-ray found a fracture, but it looks possibly like an old one, and it's not where the pain is. No tingling, etc. down legs, so that's good as well :)

A Senior Man is going to poke and prod a bit later this morning (how on earth did it get to this time!). They don't expect to find anything further, but they'd like to be sure :)

I have to say, the drug I had earlier, a muscle relaxant, made me very gigglesome :D. Pity it has worn off lol. Didn't do anything for the pain, but I was laughing too much to care :D

I am going to camp at the weekend. I am.

WHATTTTTT. MRS G!! This is so odd. I was woken up by something at 4.11 am this morning and couldn't go back to sleep so went on my laptop to find you in hospital. Really hope everything is ok. Haha. Great minds eh, fancy copying my injury :D?? (although mines not broken just deep tissue damage) Have they x rayed both top and bottom and where is fracture?? are they sure it is old?? Are you going to have an MRI now too??

Oh no I really feel your pain! But agreed those drugs you get in hospital, brilliant. Try and convince the, you need gas and air :o :p :D.

ugh I am too tired to type. I am hoping that I can now go back to sleep. Clearly you were calling to me at 4 am this morning :D :D cheers! :). Get some well needed rest, take all the drugs they offer you and don't do anything. Really hope that fracture is indeed old one and you have not broken yourself. Where is Fracture??

Oh MrsM...I think you're going to have to write a book about your exploits! :D Seriously though I hope the senior man can make you more comfortable and out of pain and work out what you've done to yourself so you are home soon and recuperating. That's tough about camp though when you've been working towards it for months :(

Oh no Mrs G!! I was so worried about it took me ages to get back to sleep. This is not good. Really hoping you are ok? what scans and x rays they doing next??? Sending you massive healing vibes and gentle hugs tooo. Poor you. Get better soon :( :( :( and bummer about camp, but you must get better first. I know how it feels to be told you can't do something you really wanted to do because your back is so bad. :( have everything crossed for you.
