Oops. I'm in Hospital.

Ooooohhhh Errrrr, Mrs M!

Shame about camp, but as camps come and go, and you have only the one back, seems like missing it this time round is a good idea.:(

Anyhoos, sending some gentle (((((hugs))))) and some healing <<<<<vibes>>>>>. Get well soon. :)

C

Good grief MrsM you really don't do things by half do you

Please do as the nice Doctors say ? You never know they may reward you with hot choccy :p ;)

Seriously though please take it easy and allow your back to heal. However long it takes

Have they discovered if the fracture is an old one yet or not?

Gentle (((hugs)))

Get well wioshes from leeds!!!!!!!
you were loveley to me when i first posted here so want to send you some back some hot choccy with preferred drugs of yur choice !!!! :)

Oh no, hope you are OK Mrs M!

(NB. Make sure the family and friends remember that its obligatory to bring chocolates when visiting anyone in hospital!)

this is not good. not what i wanted to hear on a possitive note get well soon and do take it easy. just shows how a simple fall can be disastarus. speed recovery and camp will be here next year and you may not if you don't let your back heal hugs all the way

Any updates Mrs M?

I do love the fact that the title starts with 'Oops' as if it's a mere oversight or something...!

xx

Sorry to hear this Mrs.M :( but you are in the best place so except all the drugs you can. Big gentle hugs from me and my boy and I'll raise a mug of hot choccy with cream and marshmallows wishing you a speedy recovery xx

Oh MrsM I am so sorry just wishing you loads of luck.

Must be the weekend my mate was ejected by her mare at Slimbridge while she was waiting to jump. Her paper number came off flapped in the wind and her mare went ballistic!

Last email says very bruised hip but the worst bit is a very dodgy looking finger. And she has to cycle everywhere as she has fading sight in one eye and cant drive anymore.

'Tis definately broken. Oops.

Going too fast on the dismount. Would have been okay, but I turned and was going backwards. Bad plan (not that there was any planning involved lol).

Had everything x-rayed at least twice. They were very thorough lol. MRI scan tomorrow morning :)

So far, the choices are: operate and put in some scaffolding; operate and put in balloons and cement (sounds like a brickies party lol); or a body cast.

Oh decisions, decisions, decisions.... :D

Oh Hun
I was just going to text you & see how you were doing today & got distracted on here instead. But it kind of answers my question!
What is it with you & hospitals.....??
Very gentle ((hugs)) hun, glad you've got it checked out.
xxxx

Oh Mrs G this is so sad. I have been worried all day. You have three decisions now?? wow. oh the choices. Are you going to wait until MRI tomorrow?? how long until mended with each option. I know you said earlier that surgery meant quicker recovery but is there difference between the two.. Oooo but body cast. That could be interesting. :)

Hope all goes ok for later today. How long in hospital etc etc? do you need some chocolate?

Oh no, that is such bad luck. I hope you are able to make a speedy recovery. What a bummer. Rest and more rest for you I'm afriad x
Typical that it has to happen just before camp. :(

It's like my earlier post today, a life with horses is full of high highs and low lows...I'm sitting here battered and very bruised too...again, so I can sort of sympathise.

Oh that really sucks! Was hoping you'd still have had a chance of camp :(

What are the pros and cons of each - which one will get you back up and riding ASAP?!

Fingers still crossed (getting sore now though ;) ) x

Do you have to choose or will the medics do that?
Look after yourself!
