Oops!!!!!! (Photos included)

I much prefer it short too! I am not a fan of long manes in general though, especially on such a fine elegant lad like V

I am sure it will look completely fine once you thin it out a little. It always takes a few goes to get it right... I just do a little bit all the time otherwise I would be there for hours!

Thanks! So surprised people like it! I was expecting to be slated!

I tried to thin it a bit today after I worked him so it's looking a little better. Will do somemore tomorrow,as its not very nice for him!

i love it think it looks fab,, shows that beautiful neck off such a shame to hide it under a 'wedge' of mane!!!!! your blisters will heal!!!! no pain no gain!!!!!

I doubt it, I think the type of buyer he would appeal to most is more likely to be interested in V for his dressage than his breed in which case they would most likely want the mane off anyway.

I'm only saying what a friend was told by the Andulusian society. She has a dressage Andy, and wanted to pull his mane, but she wanted to check. According to them if someone is specifically looking for an Andy a pulled mane would put them right off and their value is a lot lower

It can do if not done properly. I have no choice with my mare, she will not allow anyone to pull her mane and makes the most ridiculous fuss ever. Mind you, I wouldnt just stand there and let someone pull my hair out in chunks either!!!

I pull my Andalusians mane, its so much easier when riding, as you end up pulling half of it out when it gets tangled in your hands and round the reins
