Oops Pidge took off with me tonight - on a lesson as well

Had 30 min lesson with instructor tonight. normally have an hour with sis and friend but because of his hock decided to have a 30 min session in walk and trot only. She was having a good look to see what he was like movement wise. Well he peed off with me twice, once on each rein

- I was supposed to be trotting but he had other ideas and to my embarrassment I couldn't stop him

It took me 3 circuits of the indoor school before I could stop him, with me telling him "we're not supposed to be cantering.................."

something tells me he is feeling way too well at the moment, so I can only assume that the injection he had last week is working

Did feel a tad embarrassed though as normally I have brakes but tonight he just tanked, oh yes and this was with the pelham and two reins in not the snaffle

So although I am grinning and happy because instructor was pleased with the way he was moving I now feel like a total pleb because I couldn't stop him

Oh dear I think he must be feeling well - which is a good thing really. Im sure your instructor didnt think you were a 'total pleb' and probably has been run off with themselves a few times.

Lucky you having an indoor school, I really couldn't face riding in the rain tonight
