I use my golden oldie super star as a role model when I get a new one that needs to develop confidence. Even though he can do everything well when he’s ‘teaching’ he gets loads of praise & rewards. Works every time.

Shamelessly using Ivan here. He is by no means a super star, or a role model, but he is very confident, and good to handle - so he's getting lots of attention at the moment, to show Duncan that humans are actually pretty cool!

We took his headcollar off last night. Ivan had pulled the noseband over his nose while they were playing, and it was dangerous, so we decided to take it off, as we have all the time in the world to work with him, and we'd rather he was safe. It took a very long time to catch him, but at least we know we can if we need to!
He's getting braver
