oops What would you do

Sat at work in my stable joddy boots as i forgot my work shoes.

They are now getting warm and a bit smelly even though i scrubbed them as clean as possible. they look ok as its a trouser suit, but

Would you buy some new shoes

OR

Smell the office out!!

See i'm not really a shoe buying girl, much happier in my joddys (cough they are ariats after all) My work shoes are 10 quid off the market

HA ha ha, when did any woman need an excuse to buy new shoes. My wife and daughter always say the same thing "look at these! I saved £xxx as they were in the sale / on offer / at TK Maxx". How can you save money by spending it?

As far as the Jod boots are concerned....denial has got to be the way to go and just hope no one else in the office can recognise that particular odour

Havn't done that but have driven to work straight from yard to find I'd brought odd shoes to change into. Everyone was too polite to mention it though; or they're just used to my eccentric ways!
