You are within the rescue rech circuit...i.e rescues help to transport dogs to their destination, without one person having to travel 4000 miles

Not only are they scrummy (still lovin' the shaggy beast best of all) but they all get on so well. Mine all bloody hate each other.....well actually they all hate Alf, and all he wants to do is sit all over them and eat their faces while they sleep.......not TOO much to ask surely

, nearly forgot to say....we have a 7 month old puppy shaggy lurcher in on Monday, no one has any room, and we rehomed a saluki x grey today, so we are squeazing her in with 3 legged Jasper

Don't say 7 month old shaggy lurcher puppy to me this close to christmas. Mum suggested we all bought ourselves something we really want this year instead of getting each other the usual crappy socks etc and I REALLY want a shaggy lurcher puppy. PICCIES PLEASE

I noticed you said rescues can help with transport sometimes. Seriously how does that work?
 
Lol...u crack me up....there is a rescue sire. that helps with transport...i.e someone collects from A and then it's collected from person B, and so, on till it's at it destination, or the new owner will meet so far up, bit like the operation Esther thingy

I would have no probs aloowing either u or Acolyte a dog from us, without a home check, your posts alone are more than enough, for me to see u are fab prospective adoptee's, Rinkydink, on here got a puppy Greyhound from us, she travelled to us, but she was not too far.

It would just have to be a confident enough dog to travel, as could imagine a nery dog, may be horrified with all the travel and different people, we have transported a dog all the way past the Midlands, and got someone to homecheck in the area.......rescue net works, are fab

No, not too far from you, about two and a half hours each way and if it'd been twice that would still be totally worth it! That 'greyhound puppy' is now a big beautiful cuddly girl who fits in perfectly with her whippy 'brothers', like she's always been here! I'll send you & your mum some up to date pics soon... it'll be a year ago in Jan I think, how time flies
