i need some open front jumping boots- and fetlock boots, can anyone reccomend me any? black colour ideally, although i dont mind if they offer good support and protection- are tough wearing and a good price is favourable!

thanks

loads of tendon boots around - I like the equadon (sp?) ones - they have a hard shell - I also have the new equine ones but they are for competition only!

I have the John Whitaker ones (a set of 4) which have a cut back head on the tendon boots so that the back of the knee isn't pinched when the horse jumps, but they aren't exactly cheap at about £50, but try eBay.

I like the masta ones, but i have nortan (sp) tendon and fetlock boots were pretty cheap and hard wearing, well iv had them about a year and i use them about 5-6 days a week and there still in solid form :)

I got norton ones, fetlock and tendon boots. There are loads of fab colours to choose from (atleast 10!) and they are cheap and very hard wearing. I bought a set for my ned for under 20 quid for the complete set of fetlock and tendon boots and have had them for over 3 years and have been using them almost every single day for the past 3 years I have had them. They are super easy to wash and are so super robuste !!
When they finally die I will def be getting new ones to replace them! Excellent everyday hacking, jumping boots.

Just bought the requisite ones this weekend at robinsons. Open fronted front boots/fetlock boots in black. they are £20 for front and 310 for back which is pretty good. the whittaker ones are also good but double the price.
