Opinion on this mare please

It depends - are they looking for something to bring on? Or something that already does it? The last one is the least experienced, I always think a nervous rider and a young horse shouldn't really go together - especially if horse is still green (rider transfers nerves to horse, horse then grows up being nervous of everything rider was nervous of like me with my 5yo 14.2 and trakehners... No one managed to get him over one after I told him they were mean, scary things he should be scared of).

The welsh cob looks a good sort, fairly skimpy advert for a business imo - might be worth a look.

To be honest I would steer your friend away from Welshies! If she's nervous then it will likely be a mismatch and she will want rid once her confidence is dented. Of the other two you posted, I would say no to the first one as it has what looks like, a tall strong man on board. The second one looks better although with a bit more condition on her, might then be a live wire and too much for your friend. If she wants a pony, why not try the Pony Club website instead?

I agree with all of this...it worries me that they are looking at young welshies and the rider is nervous.. not a good combination even if a welsh D is good as gold with a confident rider they are not for nervous novices IMO. if they are on a low budget itmight be better to look at older ponies /horses rather than youngsters .
